Grida Documentation

Grida is an open-source canvas editor and rendering engine, with products and workflows around Figma interoperability, forms, platform tooling, and headless rendering.

This site is the main entry point for product documentation. If you are new to Grida, start with the section that matches what you are trying to do.

Start Here

  • Use Editor if you are working inside the Grida editor and want feature docs or workflow help.
  • Use With Figma if you are importing from Figma, using Assistant, or working through Figma-related setup.
  • Use Forms if you are building form flows, notifications, or response handling.
  • Use Platform if you are working with product infrastructure, customers, tags, or platform features.
  • Use Canvas SDK if you are embedding or integrating Grida canvas capabilities.

Product Areas

  • Editor for editor capabilities and interaction docs.
  • With Figma for interoperability guides, import workflows, and the maintained Assistant product surface.
  • Forms for forms-specific user docs.
  • Platform for product/platform docs.
  • Canvas SDK for the canvas embed and SDK surface.
  • Design for design-oriented notes and visual model docs such as vector network behavior.

Reference And Technical Docs

  • Reference for stable technical references and specs.
  • Working Group for design notes, architecture, proposals, and implementation plans.
  • Math for supporting technical notes used by renderer and geometry work.
  • Packages for package-level entry points such as @grida/refig.

Older Or Specialized Docs

  • CLI is kept for compatibility, but should be treated as deprecated unless a task explicitly targets it.
  • docs/@designto-code/** is synced from an external source and remains in place as reference material.
